The K Family

The holidays are upon us and so it is time to update family portraits.    I've been able to spend some time with and photograph some of my favorite families.  This is the K family.  My family always seems to be playing catch-up with them, but since they started with twins, it is a little more difficult.  They were wonderful.  I hope this gives them a little preview.  I just had to edit some.  I had a hard time narrowing it down.

I Heart Faces - "Smile" Entry

This is my all time favorite picture I've taken of my daughter!

It turned out just like I dreamed.

I'm finally getting around to posting this to my blog almost a year later.

Oh, well. I still love it.

I am also entering it in the I heart Faces contest for this week if I can get it all figured out.

Weekend Getaway

The Zoo.

I'm a very big fan of taking pictures in the zoo.

Probably because I'm a very big chicken and fences make me feel safer.

However, I try not to make it look like the animals are in the zoo, which is hard with all the concrete and faux stone.



This is quite possibly one of my favorite animal shots I've ever taken.
I am never going to get this shot again.
And I think it's funny.

The C* Family

This was a fun shoot.

I got to see my friends again, since they came in town for this.

They were great sports.

Eventhough we had unusual and bitterly cold weather,

the pictures don't show it.

Now they are moving farther away.

We will miss them.
